Student Employment
Are you looking for a job? Many Augustana students work without ever leaving campus! Providing students the opportunity to earn money on campus to assist with educational expenses is the purpose of the Augustana Student Employment Program. The program provides students with a meaningful and rewarding work experience that contributes to the excellence of the Augustana community. Each student employee plays an essential role in helping the College perform day-to-day operations. Jobs can be found in various departments on campus doing a wide variety of tasks. Many of these jobs are available to students who do not qualify for federal work study funds. All jobs pay at least minimum wage and the hours can be set up around your class schedule.
The Student Employment program employs approximately 600 students during the regular academic year and 100 during the summer term. Most of these students are employed through the Federal College Work-Study Program, which is a federal program available to qualifying students. Students qualify by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and demonstrating financial need. A small number of students are also employed by the College using institutional funds.
